We are seeking a Senior Sustainability Program Manager to join our growing management consulting team in the San Francisco Bay Area. The Senior Sustainability Program Manager will be responsible for leading sustainability consulting projects for our clients and helping them to identify, assess and address their environmental and social impacts. This person will be a key member of our consulting team, and will be responsible for managing projects, and delivering high-quality, actionable programs to clients. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a wide range of sustainability issues on a global scale with some of the most innovative and impactful companies on the planet. The successful candidate may work remotely anywhere in the US.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

+Lead the delivery of sustainability consulting projects throughout the globe for Fortune 500 clients.

+Develop and deliver sustainability strategies, including greenhouse gas reduction plans, sustainability reporting, and ESG programs.

+Conduct sustainability assessments, including life cycle assessment (LCA), carbon footprint analysis and triple bottom line analysis.

+Develop and edit communication decks, technical reports and other client deliverables

+Support business development activities, including proposal writing and client management.

+Manage project teams and work with clients to develop scope, timelines and budget for consulting projects.

+Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers within client organizations.

+Stay informed of industry trends, best practices and emerging issues in sustainability and integrate this knowledge into client projects.

QUALIFICATIONS:

+Bachelor's or Master's degree in environmental science, sustainability, engineering, or a related field.

+Minimum of 5-7 years of professional experience in sustainability consulting, with a focus on environmental and social impacts.

+Exceptional visual, verbal & written communication skills.

+Ability to effectively communicate with an array of stakeholders & corporate leadership partners using decks.

+Experience with sustainability assessments and reporting tools such as GHG Protocol and Life Cycle Assessments (LCA).

+Strong project management skills, including the ability to lead multiple projects and work independently.

+Experience leading and managing project teams.

+Experience with business development, including proposal writing and client management.

+Strong Understanding of environmental and social impacts of business operations and supply chain.

+Experience with sustainability certifications such as LEED, BREEAM, WELL, LBC or similar

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

+Advanced degree in environmental science, sustainability, engineering, or a related field

+Experience in particular sectors such as buildings and technology

+Experience with sustainability assessments & reporting programs such as the Greenhouse Gas Protocol & Carbon Disclosure Project.

+Experience with carbon offsetting and carbon credits

+Experience leading sustainability and program strategy workshops

+Strong consulting and facilitation skills
